v0.9.16Aug 22, 2026
Live Cards, the Bottom of the Board, and Releases You Can Follow
Cards can now be alive: a countdown to your date, today's weather where you're going, and a shopping wishlist that adds itself up — tax included. Also: the tool strip and the Add button are back on screen on a phone, every release since 14 August has its own version number and date, and a tab you left open will tell you when there is a newer ViBo to reload into.
- Live cards: a card can now carry a widget — a countdown that counts, a weather face fetched fresh each time the board opens (keyless, straight from your browser, so it works on shared boards too), and wishlist cards with real tick-boxes.
- The wishlist does the arithmetic you were avoiding: tick the things you want and one card keeps the running answer. One-time purchases and ongoing lifestyle costs are never blended into one misleading number — you see each, then an annual dream cost with the one-offs spread over an acquisition horizon you choose, then the income that would carry it. Untick the biggest item and watch it collapse — that is the point of it.
- Everything starts ticked on purpose. The first number you see is the whole dream; every untick is a decision.
- Wishlist cards are pictures now, not paragraphs: a photo, a short title, a compact price and a tick. Unticking a card visibly drains the colour out of it. The rest — what it costs per month or per year, how financially ambitious it is, how necessary versus extravagant, how much you actually want it — lives in the card's menu, off the board.
- A wish's financial ambition (Very achievable up to Moonshot) is worked out from its yearly cost, and you can pin it manually when the maths misjudges a dream. Chips on the summary card answer "what would everything up through Rich cost?" without unticking anything.
- Select all and Deselect all, on the summary card. The dream-income figure is labelled what it is: a motivational estimate, not financial advice.
Show all 20 changesShow fewer
- The My Shopping Wishlist template arrives seeded with 38 wishes ordered from a new phone to a family office, each with real photography and editable costs.
- On an older app version or in a share preview, a live card shows its written face instead — nothing goes blank, it just stands still.
- Fixed: on a phone, the bottom of the board sat underneath the browser's own address bar — the tool strip and the Add button were sliced off, and nothing could scroll them back. The board was being sized to the height the page would have if that bar retracted, and on a stage that never scrolls it never does. Reported from a Galaxy S10.
- Fixed: at 360px wide the tool strip and the Add button overlapped by 34px, the zoom percentage sitting underneath the Add pill. The strip now reserves the button's column, and the button drops its label below tablet size so that reserve is arithmetic rather than a guess about how wide the word 'Add' happens to be in your language — 131px in German, 44px without.
- Fixed: the onboarding modal, which is the first thing a new visitor on a phone sees, was the one panel in the app with no height limit. On a real handset its footer fell off the bottom of the screen, taking 'Get Started' and 'Don't show this again' with it.
- Four releases shipped between 15 and 20 August without ever appearing in this log — mirroring a selection, the phone layout, share images, mindmaps, lighter pictures. They are written up below as v0.9.13, v0.9.14 and v0.9.15, each dated the day it actually shipped, so a version number means the same thing to you as it does to us.
- Update Available: leave ViBo open and it now tells you when a newer version has shipped, with a link to what changed and a button to reload into it. It asks the server at most once an hour, and only while the tab is actually in front of you; it will not raise the same version with you twice in 24 hours; and 'Later' means later, not in five minutes.
- Save before you reload — the nudge says so, and if you have unsaved work your browser will stop and ask you anyway. Nothing reloads on its own.
- A release with a lot in it now opens with its first few changes and a 'Show all' button, instead of burying the headline under twenty bullets. v0.9.12 is the entry that earned this.
- Under the hood: the build now fails when user-facing work ships with no entry here, and when an entry is edited after the day it shipped. Both of those are how a week of releases ended up inside v0.9.12 in the first place.
- Picture Resolution, On The Picture: right-click a photo and the card's own menu now carries the same High / Medium / Small / Tiny dial as the Board Size panel, with the picture's real pixel size next to it. Softening or sharpening one photo no longer means opening a panel and finding its row among every picture on the board.
- Fixed: the Board Size panel said "No pictures on this board yet" while you were looking at one. Any picture kept in cloud storage — which is where uploads have gone since 20 August — was missing from that list entirely. Every picture now appears, and the ones held in storage are marked as costing the board nothing rather than left out of it.
- Lowering a picture that lives in storage now puts the smaller version back in storage, instead of pulling its bytes into the board. If that cannot be done — you are signed out, say — the option is greyed out rather than offered and then failing.
- Fixed, same day: a picture pasted from another site (Pinterest, say) got resolution buttons that could never work — the site shows the picture but won't let ViBo read it back. Those buttons now switch off and say why, instead of failing with 'try again'. The Board Size panel also stops calling such pictures 'kept in storage' — they're linked, not stored, and they still weigh nothing.
v0.9.15Aug 20, 2026
Mindmaps & Much Lighter Pictures
Connect cards to each other and ViBo draws the relationship, pictures come into storage a fraction of the weight, and a guest board stops re-downloading itself every time you look at it.
- Mindmaps: connect one card to another and the line is drawn for you. Tab makes a child, Enter a sibling, Shift+Tab a parent — or drag from one of the four handles on the selected card onto whatever you want it joined to.
- A connection knows its two cards, not a position on the board, so it follows them as they are moved, resized and rotated. It survives copy, paste, duplicate and templates, and a branch you copied points at the copy rather than back at the original.
- Two layouts arrange a map for you — radial and horizontal tree — and growing a branch is one undo step, so Ctrl+Z takes back the card and its connection together rather than leaving a line to nowhere.
- Fixed: connections were not drawn at all. The layer they live in had no viewport, so every line was there in the page and invisible on screen.
- Fixed: one Tab produced two undo steps, and the branch handles crowded the card once you zoomed out.
- Pictures Come In Lighter: a picture is now resized and re-encoded on its way into storage, capped at 1200px on its longest edge. Across our own library that is 8.4MB down to 4.6MB, at a quality no card can show the difference at — and a picture that would not save at least a fifth of its weight is stored exactly as you gave it to us rather than re-encoded for nothing.
- 101 languages now resolve to a real dictionary rather than being listed and greyed out.
- Fixed: a guest board re-downloaded itself in full — pictures, plus ten history snapshots — every time you switched back to the tab. That check is now 40 bytes instead of 2.1MB, and it only fetches the board when something has actually changed.
v0.9.14Aug 18, 2026
Boards That Look Right When Shared
A shared link now unfurls as a picture of the board itself, someone's Templates row opens their list instead of hijacking your canvas, and the update log lives at a real URL.
- Share Images: paste a shared board link into Discord, iMessage, X or LinkedIn and the preview is a rendering of that board, generated from what the board actually shows, rather than a generic card with a logo on it.
- Fixed: clicking someone's name under Templates loaded their first board over whatever was on your canvas — after about three seconds of nothing happening. The name now opens their list of boards, you choose which one to look at, and the list opens straight away and is remembered.
- Fixed: a board of theirs that failed to load left you locked in spectating mode with no way back to your own board.
- Fixed: the menu button sat on top of the board title.
- The update log and the feedback form have real addresses now — /changelog and /feedback — so a release can be linked to and shared instead of only existing behind a button on the board.
- 85 languages resolve to a real dictionary.
Show all 9 changesShow fewer
- Fixed: the message shown when a link cannot be embedded read as broken English (and worse in other languages) whenever the site could not be named — the sentence and the name of the site were translated separately and did not agree with each other.
- A written guide to making a vision board online, so people looking for one can find ViBo by describing what they want rather than by knowing its name.
- Boards open a little faster: every board request was re-reading the same account row from the database first.
v0.9.13Aug 16, 2026
A Board That Fits Your Phone
Three controls that no phone could reach are reachable, panels scroll instead of dragging the board around underneath them, a selection can be mirrored, and ViBo starts speaking the languages it had only been listing.
- ViBo on a Phone: in portrait, 'Reset zoom' sat entirely off the screen and 'Log in' — the one thing a guest opens the app to do — was cut in half, with no way to scroll to either. The tool strip now fits a 320px screen, the minimap sits on its own line above it, and the top bar wraps instead of clipping.
- Rename, duplicate and delete a board with a long press. Those were behind hover, which a finger cannot do, so on a phone they simply did not exist. Press for half a second and they appear — and the press gives up the moment your finger starts scrolling the list instead.
- Buttons grow to a proper 44px target on touch devices only, so nothing shifts by a pixel for anyone on a mouse.
- Mirror: flip a selection across its own centre line. Cards swap sides as a group, and anything with a direction of its own — a bracket, an arrowhead, a curve, a tilt — turns to match, so a bracket drawn around a column lands correctly on the other side rather than backwards.
- Fixed: scrolling anything the board draws over itself — the sidebar, board settings, the Guide, the picture-quality list, the language menu — panned the board behind it instead of scrolling the panel, with the panel's own scrollbar sitting there in plain sight.
- Fixed: focusing a control could slide the whole board 48px sideways, with no way to slide it back.
- Board titles written by the server — 'My New Board' and the starter templates — now arrive in your language instead of always in English.
- 37 languages now resolve to a real dictionary, up from two: Thai, Ukrainian, Swedish, Italian, Brazilian and European Portuguese, and 16 more. Anything not yet translated falls back to English line by line, so nothing ever renders as a raw key.
v0.9.12Aug 14, 2026
Bulk Edits, Arrowheads & Lighter Boards
Style a whole selection from any card's own menu, seven arrowheads to choose from, Korean — plus pictures that barely count against your board, and a board that opens where your cards actually are.
- Fixed: with several cards selected, changing a colour, font, size or treatment from a card's own menu only changed that one card. Every control in that menu now lands on all the selected cards of the same kind, and the menu shows "×3" so you can see how many are about to change.
- What a card actually says stays on the card you opened — its text, its picture, its link, the answers on its back. Those were never a style, and copying them across a selection would wipe what the other cards say instead of restyling them.
- Card colour now sits at the top of the edit menu, where you reach for it, as well as in its old place further down. They're the same control drawn twice, so they can't disagree.
- A shape's colour is called Fill, not "Card colour" — and lines, arrows and braces no longer offer a fill they don't have. Their colour is Line colour, where it always was.
- Seven Arrowheads: chevron, triangle, barb, diamond, dot, square or bar, on either end of a line. Each can be solid or hollow, and a size dial takes the head from half again to three times what the line thickness would give you on its own.
- Fixed: an arrowhead went blunt and blobby once the line got thick. The line was drawn all the way to the point, so its rounded end poked out past the tip — invisible on a hairline, a nose on a fat arrow. The line now stops where the head begins, at every thickness and on curves too.
Show all 21 changesShow fewer
- Fixed: a thick arrow could collapse into a black star. Heads grew with the thickness of the line but never against the length of the arrow, so past a certain weight the two ends met in the middle. A head is now measured against the arrow it belongs to, and a very short, very thick arrow settles for a plain line rather than a blot.
- Pictures Live Outside the Board: a picture you add now costs your board a few hundred bytes instead of megabytes, so boards hold far more before they fill up. Pictures already on your boards are left exactly where they are — nothing is rewritten under you — and if storage is unavailable for any reason the picture is kept the old way instead of failing.
- Boards Open Framed: opening a board now fits the whole thing on screen. It used to keep whatever pan and zoom the last board left behind, which often meant landing on blank paper and hunting for your own cards.
- Templates from Board Settings: pick a starter template from the cog beside the board name — it copies into your boards and opens, and never writes over the board you were on. Six starters now, including 'My Dream House', 'The Priority Matrix' and 'My favourite movies, books, music'.
- New boards start on grid, and grid leads the background picker — it's what you're looking at when you open it.
- ViBo Speaks Korean: the language picker beside the Guide lists 134 languages and lets you choose the two the app genuinely speaks — English and Korean. The rest are listed but greyed out and marked 'Soon', since a language that changes nothing on screen reads as broken rather than promised. Your choice is remembered, and a page arrives already in your language instead of flashing English first.
- The Guide is a '?' in a thin ring rather than the widest button in the row.
- Fixed: two of the six starter boards a new account received arrived as a bare prompt card — they were listed as templates but had never actually been made.
- Fixed: deleting your last board conjured a new one. The canvas emptied but the deleted board's contents were still counted as unsaved work, so the autosave dutifully saved them back as 'My New Board'.
- Fixed: opening a board from the sidebar could silently snap back to the board you came from, if a background refresh of the board list happened to be in flight.
- Fixed: new accounts were landing on an empty app. Seeding a signup's starter boards ran past a five-second database limit and failed outright.
- Fixed: restoring a point from history could leave the toolbar claiming 'N selected' with nothing visibly selected.
- Saving Got Much Lighter: every autosave and every board open was quietly carrying ten full copies of the board along with the history list. Only a card count was ever shown from them.
- About the counts we keep: ViBo records a few product events — a board saved, someone coming back — as a one-way hash of who, an event name, and a handful of fixed labels. No board content, no email, no name, and rows are pruned on a schedule. It's how we tell whether a feature helped anyone.
- Security: updated the sign-in library for a critical advisory, and Next.js along with it.
v0.9.11Aug 6, 2026
Lock & Layers
Pin a card so it can't be nudged, and control what sits in front of what — without clicking a hundred times to get there.
- Lock: pin any card (or a whole group) so it can't be dragged, resized, restyled or deleted — and so a lasso passes straight over it while you work around it. Ctrl+L, or the padlock in the toolbar. Locked cards stay right-clickable, which is how you unlock them.
- Layer Ordering: bring cards forward or back, to the very front or the very back — on single cards, multi-selections and groups alike. Ctrl+] and Ctrl+[ , add Shift to jump all the way.
- Forward and Back step over what a card actually overlaps, not the next card in the stack. On a busy board, lifting something out from under the two things covering it takes two clicks, not one per card on the board — the clicks you spend match the cards you can see are in the way.
- Fixed: simply clicking a card used to send it to the very front and mark the board unsaved, which quietly reshuffled your layering as you worked. Selecting a card now lifts it visually while you hold it, and leaves the real order alone.
v0.9.10Aug 6, 2026
Lighter Pictures, Clearer Cards
Pictures come in much lighter by default, the size meter and quality dial are where you'd look for them, and cards always show you the side you just changed.
- Pictures Import Small: a picture added to a board is now stored at a size suited to the card it sits on, not at photo resolution. Boards that used to fill up after a dozen images now hold many more — and any picture can be raised to full quality whenever you want, since the original is kept on your device.
- The quality steps moved down a rung: what used to be the smallest is now the middle one, so 'Small' and 'Tiny' are genuinely small.
- Board Size in Settings: the meter and the picture-quality panel are now in Board Settings (the cog beside the board name), not only on the toolbar — and the Guide explains both.
- Fixed: double-clicking a card stopped working — to flip it, or to write on a text card. A change made for dragging video cards was grabbing the mouse the instant you pressed, which stopped the browser ever recognising the second click. It's now grabbed only once you actually start dragging, so double-click behaves again and video cards still drag properly.
- Fixed: lowering a picture's quality and then raising it again did nothing unless you went via Original. Each step was being made from the picture already on the card, and detail that's been thrown away can't be scaled back — every step now comes from the full-quality copy.
- Fixed: a new text card arrived with the words 'Double click to edit' actually written on it, so you had to delete the instructions before writing — and an untouched card kept them, carrying that text onto anyone who duplicated the board. New text cards are empty now and show the hint in faint grey until you write something.
Show all 10 changesShow fewer
- Press Enter to write on a selected text card, as well as double-clicking it.
- Flip Button: the card menu has an explicit Flip control. Double-clicking still flips, but it can't while the hand tool is on, and a gesture that quietly does nothing looks like a bug.
- Front and Back tabs in the card menu now turn the card to that side, so the menu never describes a face you can't see.
- Fixed: photo treatments (Mono, Sepia and the rest) didn't turn the card face-up when you applied them, so choosing one on a flipped card appeared to do nothing. Every front edit now shows the front, and every back edit shows the back.
v0.9.9Aug 5, 2026
Real Templates & the Hand Tool
Six templates built from real boards — including a guide you can walk through — and a proper pan mode for moving around big boards.
- A Real Template Gallery: six templates made from actual boards, not empty scaffolds — 'How to use VIBO', 'Who I want to become', 'my favourite quotes', 'How it went: 2026', 'My (virtual) Closet' and 'My Dream House'. Browse them under Templates and duplicate any of them to make it yours.
- New accounts start with 'How to use VIBO', 'Who I want to become' and 'How it went: 2026' — so the first thing you open teaches you the app with a board that shows what a finished one looks like.
- Pan Mode: press H (or the hand button, bottom-left) and dragging anywhere moves the canvas instead of selecting — no more aiming for empty space on a crowded board. Press V to go back to selecting. Panning keeps your selection.
- Hold Space to Pan: hold Space and drag whenever you need a quick nudge, release and you're selecting again — the same habit as Figma and Photoshop.
- Zoom to Fit: one click (or Shift+1) frames everything on the board. Click the percentage to snap back to 100%.
- The + and − zoom buttons now zoom on the middle of your screen instead of creeping toward the top-left corner.
Show all 18 changesShow fewer
- Board Size, Visible: a meter next to the zoom controls shows how full a board is once it's worth knowing about. Boards have a size limit because pictures are stored inside them, and until now you only met that limit by hitting it.
- Picture Quality Dial: open the meter to see every picture on the board and what it weighs, then set any of them — or all of them at once — to High, Medium, Small or Tiny. Lowering one keeps its full-quality copy on your device, so you can put it back to Original whenever you like.
- Fixed: a board that grew too large failed to save with no way out. The limit is now checked before saving rather than after, the message says how big the board is and what the limit is, and it opens the panel that can fix it.
- Scroll to Move Around: the scroll wheel (or two fingers on a trackpad) now moves the board — it did nothing at all before. Shift+scroll goes sideways, and Ctrl+scroll still zooms, which is also what a trackpad pinch does.
- Minimap: a small map of the whole board sits by the zoom controls, with an outline showing the part you're looking at. Click or drag on it to jump anywhere. Hide it with the map button.
- Fixed: dragging a card with a video or embed on it could leave the card stuck to your cursor, still following after you let go. The embed was swallowing the release, so the board never heard that the drag had ended.
- Stuck in the Wrong Tool? Both mistakes look the same — nothing happens. If you click a card twice while panning, or drag across empty space twice while selecting, a small note points at the toggle and tells you which key fixes it. Click the note to switch. It appears once each, then never again.
- The same applies while looking at someone else's board: clicking cards that won't respond now points you at 'Duplicate to My Boards' rather than leaving you guessing.
- Fixed: while viewing someone's board — or any template — the title always read '<their name>'s Vision', so all six templates looked identically named. It now shows the board's own name, with whose board it is on the badge underneath.
- Fixed: the board background stopped at the edge of your first screenful. Pan or zoom out and the dots, grid or colour ran out, leaving blank paper — the background was a screen-sized patch being dragged around with your cards. It now covers the canvas wherever you go.
- Templates Open All the Way: double-click a card on a template to turn it over and read the prompts on the back — the part that actually teaches you how the board is built. You still can't move or edit anything until you duplicate it.
- A friend's card backs stay private, as before — but now it says so when you try, instead of the double-click doing nothing and looking broken.
v0.9.8Aug 4, 2026
Paste Anything, Safer Saving
Paste a picture, a link or a line of text straight onto the board — Pinterest included. Importing a picture from a link works far more often, and when it can't, it says why instead of giving up.
- Paste Anything: Ctrl+V a picture, a link or a line of text and it becomes a card. Links work out their own shape — the picture for a Pinterest pin, a player for YouTube and Spotify, a preview card for anything else. You can drag image files in from your desktop too, and they drop where you let go.
- Fixed: importing from Pinterest said 'No media found'. Pinterest now blocks our server from reading pin pages the way a browser does, so pins come through Pinterest's own widget service instead — and the short links from the Share button work too.
- Fixed: pasting a copied link announced 'Pasted 1 item' and appeared to do nothing. Ctrl+V ignored your real clipboard and re-pasted a card you'd copied earlier in ViBo, usually off-screen. Copied cards still paste the same way — the board just works out which of the two you meant.
- Pictures From Any Page: a link that is itself a picture (right-click a photo, Copy image address) now imports directly, and a page that never says which picture represents it is read for the pictures it actually shows. When there are several, you pick from a grid instead of getting whichever one we guessed.
- An Honest No: when a page really has no picture, or blocks us, or the link has expired, the card says which of those happened and offers to keep it as a link — instead of a bare 'No media found'.
- Transparent PNGs Stay Transparent: a PNG with a see-through background keeps it, instead of sitting on a white rectangle. Big pictures are resized on the way in — a 4000px photo is stored at 1600px, far more than the canvas ever shows.
Show all 17 changesShow fewer
- Autosave now runs a couple of seconds after you stop, instead of up to 30 seconds later. Previously the timer restarted on every edit, so while you were actively working it never fired at all.
- Fixed: several false 'you edited this board somewhere else' alarms — a save racing itself, a save landing as you switched back to the tab, and a dropped connection being read as 'deleted elsewhere'. A genuine edit from another device still asks, and only when the content really differs.
- Fixed: the board background picker did nothing — dots, grid and the colours were being painted behind the board itself.
- Fixed: saving could claim you had hit the 10-board limit when you had far fewer. The usual real cause is a board too big to send, which now says so.
- Switching boards with unsaved work now offers Save and switch, Discard my changes, or Stay here. If the save fails you stay put rather than losing the work.
- Format Part of a Sentence: select a word inside a text card and Ctrl+B / I / U formats just that word. Plus shrink-to-fit, fit-card-to-text, and the back of a card finally gets the same text and image controls as the front.
- Style, Scale & Rotate a Selection: colour, text size, bold and italic apply to everything selected; corner grips resize the whole group keeping its spacing, and the round grip swings it around its centre.
- Photo Treatments: Mono, Sepia, Warm, Cool, Fade and Punch, each previewed on your own photo — plus Wash, which tints or darkens a picture behind its text so white words stay readable.
- Duplicate a Board from the sidebar, or Save As to fork the board you are looking at — unsaved changes included — into a new one.
- Embeds Can Be Grabbed: YouTube, Spotify and Pinterest cards used to swallow the click before the card saw it. They now drag and double-click like any other card. Embeds are also restricted to those three services, since a board you share opens in your friend's browser.
- Fixed: a brand-new board showed the previous board's history until the next save — restoring one of those entries would have dropped the old board's cards into the new one.
v0.9.7Jul 30, 2026
Handles, Selection & Undo
The editing pass: real transform handles on every card, braces that actually look like braces, multi-select with grouping, and undo/redo.
- Eight Resize Handles: Four corners and four edges, each pinning the opposite side — so you can stretch a card from any direction instead of only the bottom-right. Hold Shift on a corner to keep the aspect ratio.
- Rotate From Any Corner: Four round rotate grips. Hold Shift to snap to 15°.
- Arrows You Can Aim: Lines and arrows now have draggable endpoints — grab an end to point, lengthen and rotate in one move. Drag the middle dot to bow it into a curve. Arrowheads on either end, plus dashed and dotted strokes.
- Braces That Look Like Braces: { } [ ] ( ) are now a single delimiter hugging one side of a group, not a squashed mirrored pair. Pick which edge it opens toward.
- Shape Options: Corner radius, border width and colour, fill and opacity on box and circle shapes.
- Double-Click Text to Edit: Text cards now actually edit in place, and Enter makes a new line.
Show all 18 changesShow fewer
- Lasso Selection: Drag on empty canvas to select a zone. Shift-click to add or remove one card. Selected cards move, duplicate and delete together.
- Grouping: Ctrl+G groups cards so they always select and move as one; Ctrl+Shift+G ungroups.
- Undo & Redo: Ctrl+Z and Ctrl+Y, with a whole drag counting as one step. Buttons next to the board title too.
- Copy, Cut, Paste, Duplicate, Delete: Ctrl+C / X / V / D and the Del key — and the clipboard survives switching boards.
- Arrow keys nudge by 1px, Shift+arrows by 10px.
- The Back of a Card Can Be Anything: Reflection prompt (as before), plain text, an image, a video, or an embed. Front and back each get their own background colour.
- Text as a Hyperlink: Give any text card a URL and the text becomes a link.
- Link Cards Can Shrink to a Link: Show a pasted URL as a full card, a live embed, or just an inline hyperlink.
- Fixed: renaming a board typed invisible text on the selected row. You can also rename from Board Settings now.
- Fixed: dragging and rotating were wrong whenever the canvas was zoomed or panned.
- Fixed: changing the board background or random-rotation setting never marked the board unsaved, so it didn't get saved.
- One ViBo, not two: the logo is the wordmark, so the duplicate 'ViBo' text next to it is gone.
v0.9.6Jul 28, 2026
Links, Arrows, Brackets & Mobile
Paste any link and it becomes a card — playable for YouTube and Spotify. Plus drawable arrows, grouping brackets, and real touch controls.
- Link & Embed Cards: Paste a YouTube or Spotify link for a playable embed, or any other URL (LinkedIn, linktree, an article) for a preview card with image, title and site.
- Arrows & Lines: Draw a connector between ideas, with adjustable thickness.
- Grouping Brackets: Wrap a cluster of cards in a big { }, [ ] or ( ).
- Mobile: One-finger panning and two-finger pinch-to-zoom now work properly on phones and tablets.
- Zoom to Cursor: Zooming keeps the point under your pointer in place instead of drifting.
- A bigger ViBo welcome: the loading screen now leads with the logo.
- Roadmap ballot trimmed to the three big directions that genuinely compete — everything else on the list just got built.
v0.9.5Jul 28, 2026
You Steer the Roadmap
A ballot box in the Guide — vote for the feature you want next — plus a loading screen that tells you what it's doing.
- Roadmap Voting: New 'vote' tab in the Guide. One vote per account, an optional note, change it anytime — the tally decides what we build next.
- Honest Loading: The start-up screen now narrates real stages ('Fetching your boards…', 'Opening "My 2026 Vision Board"…') instead of a silent spinner.
- Faster Start-Up: The board list and guest-backup check now load in parallel.
v0.9.4Jul 28, 2026
Tabs That Agree With Each Other
Multiple tabs and devices no longer drift apart: stale tabs refresh themselves, and nothing overwrites newer work silently.
- Refresh on Return: Switching back to a ViBo tab re-syncs the board list and the open board automatically.
- Instant Tab Sync: Saves, renames, deletes, and new boards ping other open tabs in the same browser right away.
- No Silent Overwrites: If another tab or device saved a newer version, you get a clear choice — load the latest, or keep your edits as a copy — instead of losing either one.
- Deleted-Board Honesty: Opening a board that was deleted elsewhere now says so, instead of showing a scary empty board.
- Guest tabs refresh from the server backup too.
v0.9.3Jul 28, 2026
Duplicate Templates & Honest Spectating
Browsing someone's board is now clearly read-only — and one click turns any template into your own board.
- Duplicate to My Boards: While viewing a template or a friend's board, copy it into your own boards and edit freely.
- True Read-Only Spectating: Viewing no longer allows phantom edits that were silently thrown away — what you see is safe to explore.
- Templates Section: The Dev's template boards moved to their own 'Templates' section in the sidebar, separate from real Friends.
- Card backs stay private: flipping cards is disabled while spectating.
v0.9.2Jul 28, 2026
Starter Templates, In-App Feedback & Fixes
Every new account now starts with three ready-made template boards, feedback lives inside the app, and board switching is unstuck.
- Starter Templates: New accounts begin with 'Who I want to become', 'My 2026 Vision Board', and 'How it went: 2025' — pre-filled from the Dev's template boards.
- In-App Feedback: Send bugs & suggestions directly from the Guide window — no email app needed.
- Fixed: Creating a new board no longer leaves the screen stuck on 'Switching Board…'.
- Fixed: The 'DEV' friend entry is now the real dev account (with its template boards) instead of an empty placeholder.
- Privacy: Boards are now readable only by their owner, accepted friends, and everyone for the Dev's public templates.

- Card Rendering Logic: Fixed specific rendering for YouTube (iframe) and Shape (border-radius) types.
